Research
We organise research and design around four domains across the lifespan. In each domain we address the same fundamental questions — what should be learned, how teaching and facilitation should be designed, how people learn, and how progress should be understood — adapted to the distinctive realities of that stage of life.
01
K-12 Education
Designing the future of school learning in the age of AI, grounded in the realities of Indian classrooms and systems.
02
Higher Education
Redesigning teaching, learning, and assessment in universities and colleges for an AI-transformed world.
03
Flexible Learning for Professionals & Executives
Designing adaptive, high-impact continuous learning that fits the realities of work and leadership.
04
Third-Age Learning
Enabling older adults to continue learning, connecting, and participating fully through thoughtfully designed technology-supported experiences.
Cross-cutting approaches
Across all four domains we draw on:
- •AI for adaptive and personalised learning
- •Learning engineering and evidence-based design
- •Equity, access, and inclusion
- •Human-centered design and HCI
These approaches are supported by the Learning Middleware, our open infrastructure for the science and design of learning.
